Extreme cameras for CCTV.
It happens very often that recordings from CCTV cameras are useless due
to low quality. The reasons are: inadequate lens (usually to short focal
length), bad lighting, and low resolution of resultant image. The
quality of each system has to be based on employing appropriate cameras.
The owner of a computer shop in Czestochowa, Poland, has decided to
install a monitoring system. His carefulness seemed to be rewarded -
there was shortly a robbery, being fully recorded. Unfortunately, low
quality of the material made it worthless for the investigation. The
police are still looking for the perpetrators of that audacious robbery.
After that event the owner has changed the cameras and their deployment.
The next offender wasn't lucky - he was recognized and then captured.
Depending on the problems (lighting, necessity of magnifying some
details of images), there are provided various solutions based on the
latest technologies involved in some newest cameras:
- camera with Super Wide Dynamic sensor,
- High Resolution camera,
- Day/Night camera.
DPS cameras (Digital Pixel System), based on technology developed
by American company Pixim, where every pixel is a virtual camera. DPS
camera meets requirements for WDR (wide dynamic range). The final result
we show in the pictures below - with reference material.

"Citizen monitoring" - cable TV
or SMATV / MATV systems may improve security level
on housing estates.

Thanks to "Citizen monitoring" system implemented by cable TV
operator Autocom on housing estate Strusia in Krakow, the residents are
able to watch in their televisions images from parking lots and
playgrounds. It helped to catch several hooligans destroying cars.
